Great, Spencer. We’ll look forward to having you join us at the conference!

  • http://www.prg-consulting.com Elodie Morin

    Good afternoon,

my name is Elodie Morin, I’m French (but live in Prague in Czech Republic) and I’m also very interested in this conference.
Curently working on a new project: a wine cellar management software. Wine blogging is definitely great, I listen to numerous podcasts, read lots of blogs and think this is definitely something interesting for the project.
Do you think the conference might be worth the travel for me, in terms of user feeback and market responsiveness? I’m ready to fly to Sonoma but I need to make sure it is worth while for me, since I’m not a blogger myself.

Looking forward to reading you soon,

    best regards,

    Elodie Morin.

  • Allan Wright

    Hi Elodie,

I’ll email you directly in case you have other questions. In short, we think the conference will be very useful for both bloggers and others involved in the wine industry, especially those exploring new technologies and how they will affect the world of wine. Of course, you are flying a long way so you might want to plan extra days to meet with companies in your area of interest.

  • http://www.mustlovewine.com Mark

I wish i could be there. This will be a great experience for all the attendees. I will post some info on my site since we have quite a few wine bloggers as members. Have fun!

  • http://clinecellars.blogspot.com Laurel Carman

    Hello,

I am with Cline Cellars and we have recently begun our own blog. As this is a fairly new medium for us, we feel that it would be vastly beneficial for us to participate in the conference. Is there anyway we could attend the conference still?

    Thank you,

    L. Carman

  • Allan Wright

    Hi L.,

We would love to have you join us but we are currently maxed out at 160. Please register online anyway and we will put you on our waitlist. We will be getting a count of who is attending which events and, if we have enough space, we will be able to add more participants.

  • http://www.winemummy.com Lisa Wooldridge

I am very interested in this conference. My company has a new travel bag, Wine Mummy, that offers consumers an affordable solution to transporting wine and spirits in checked luggage. It would perfect for your conference attendees to use when bringing home a bottle of wine from Sonoma! I would love to talk to someone further about giving the bag away at the conference. More info at http://www.winemummy.com

  • http://winequesters.com Jim Preston

Attended last year and this was a GREAT experience and VERY helpful. A few bloggers harassed me into getting into Twitter and that was a BIG help! The Flamingo is a perfect venue and the staff was terrific! I’m in for WBC09!

  • Marcy

Hi, we're interested in attending the conference. My brother and I recently started http://www.wineguideline.com – helping the Average Joe to Drink More Wine! You can read about wines on the shelf in Washington D.C. area and find out where to buy them. (We're planning to expand to other cities as well with LA next on the list).

Can you let me know when registration will be capped? Thanks!

  • Wineguider

I'm looking forward to this! Missed Washington this year. See you in 2011!

Sorry, Marcy. I just saw this. Registration will be capped at 300. That could happen a month or so before the conference, based on prior years’ results.

  • http://twitter.com/cuvee_corner Bill Eyer

Woot-woot Cuvee Corner in the house, see ya’ll in July! Btw, don’t forget your allergy meds, the pollen counts are pretty high in July, oh raingear maybe a good thing too, summer thunderstorms are frequent, fast and fun to watch…cheers! http://cuveecorner.blogspot.com/

  • http://twitter.com/VintageTexas Russ Kane

    Alan,

About ten days ago, I registered online for the NA WBC 2011, but did not get a confirmation via email or otherwise. What’s up?

    Russ Kane

  • http://twitter.com/DrinkWhatULike Morgan

Bill – Late afternoon rains may present more of a challenge than the pollen. I’ve noticed pollen counts out here in VA higher in April/May than mid-summer months (perhaps because the rain helps lower pollen counts :) . The humidity may prove challenging for some not used to sticky summer weather. But… the good news…. Virginia is looking forward to hosting the WBC group – will be a great event!!!

  • http://twitter.com/WineSoiree Andrew Lazorchak

East Coast represent!  usually by now the WBC is sold out.  I hope this year goes off as hard as the last 3.

Anyone got good ideas on lodging?  House Share etc?

    Can’t wait!

  • http://www.joelvincent.com Joel V

We’re pretty close to capacity already so we’re on pace to be sold out
VERY soon. In fact, we usually get a TON of signups in the last month
and get the wait list going.

This year is shaping up VERY nicely! It’ll be great!

  • Tina Morey, CS

Hello!  First time attendee to the conference–does anyone have any particular pointers?  What about lodging?

Thanks so much, can’t wait to meet new folks.  I just relocated from San Diego to Williamsburg so it’s quite a culture shock!

    Cheers!

Thanks so much to Elizabeth and Suni for responding.  Looks like I need to get a twitter account ASAP.  I’m a much better wine geek than I am a blogger (so far) so if anyone wants to go out and imbibe in a drink or two, let me know.

Getting the best company registration service will open lots of doors for clients. It is

transparent and is friendly to business. Also, it can offer the most effective and quick

establishment of new ventures. These days, there are lots of ventures that are needed to be

registered in order to have a smooth-flowing transaction.
