Hello once again! After a rather long, and much appreciated respite from the wildly successful 2009 EWBC (red wines stains still being taken out of our apparel), we’re now gearing up for 2010. To be clear, this isn’t to say that we haven’t been hatching glorious plans behind the scenes, but it is to say that Robert, Ryan and I have taken our chaotic life down a few notches before the frenzy begins all over again.
This post is a simple announcement to inform you that we’re considering multiple sites in Europe, all of which are beautiful, culturally stimulating, and full of breathtaking wines! And in a very short time, we’ll be announcing which country will be the lucky winner!
Now, just as a warning, if you’re like a few dozen other people who have already sent us emails saying, “Hey Guys, I won’t tell a soul, but I need to plan my travel schedule this year, and it would be very helpful if you could just tell me ‘generally’ where we’ll be and when, I would be so appreciative”, don’t even think about it; we’re sworn to silence until contracts are signed. So unless you want us to send you to Siberia, where you’ll happily enjoy a glass of icewine, please be patient until we make a huge announcement in the coming weeks
In the meantime, you may be interested to know that posts are STILL being published on the 2009 EWBC, which hopefully means that you all brought away a little something from Portugal. With any luck, we’ll keep that trend going in 2010!
If you are interested in helping out with the 2010 EWBC financially, or through volunteering, please send us an email: contact@wineblogger.info
Cheers,
Gabriella, Robert and Ryan
