Wine Blogger Photo Contest Announced

Whether you consider yourself the modern day Ansel Adams of wine photography, or if your dream is to one day be like Jay Maisel and have the ability to encapsulate the soul of a person (drinking wine) in one vivid photograph, then this photo contest may be for you!

We’re hard at work planning the first annual Great American Wine Festival, which will be taking place on Saturday, November 16th in Portland Oregon (just after the Wine Tourism Conference), and we need your help to with our website image header!

We are holding a blogger photo contest that will run now until August 19th. Bloggers that submit an original photo celebrating the wine loving lifestyle that conveys a lively and fun atmosphere will be eligible to win a press pass to both the Wine Tourism Conference (Nov 13-15) and a Press Pass to the Great American Wine Festival (Nov 16) in Portland, Oregon. To enter, submit an original photo to the contest page and encourage your readers and fans to “like” your entry by sharing it to your network. Photos that have more votes will have a better chance of being selected as the winner.

The winner’s photograph will replace the current header image on the GAWF website. The winner will receive photo credit, and will have a link back to their blog URL.

More details and method of entry are on the Facebook contest page. If you would like to enter outside of Facebook, please email your photograph, full name, blog URL, and contact information to info@winebloggersconference.org, and we will manually submit your entry for consideration.

Fine Print: The winner receives a press pass to the Wine Tourism Conference and Great American Wine Festival only; transportation and lodging are not included. The winning blogger will be granting GAWF rights to use their photograph for marketing and promotion of the festival only, and otherwise maintains ownership rights of their work.
