Wine Tourism Conference Offer for Bloggers

by on August 30, 2012

This blog post comes to you from Marcy Gordon, wine blogger at Come for the Wine, where she specializes in wine tourism. Full disclosure – Marcy is helping conference organizer Zephyr Adventures with the 2013 Wine Tourism Conference.
Wine, Food, and Travel bloggers — Are you looking to expand your professional contacts and opportunities in the wine and tourism industry? Then you should seriously consider attending the 2nd annual Wine Tourism Conference presented by Zephyr Adventures to be held this November 14-15th in Santa Rosa, California.

Last year’s Wine Tourism Conference in Napa was a great initial gathering and I met so many people that have been instrumental in many of my projects this year. If you already work in the wine or tourism industries you should definitely register. But if you are a wine blogger (and not blogging for a company website), I highly recommend the conference for the contacts you can make and the perspective it lends on the tourism aspects of the wine industry. Food and Travel bloggers will also gain valuable insight and contacts for their particular blog focus. Many wine and tourism professionals that are influential in organizing press and blogger trips to their regions attend the conference. It’s a great place to meet informally, pitch stories, and develop recognition outside of traditional blogging conferences.

The industry registration fee is $350. But if you are an active citizen blogger (unaffiliated with any business) and agree to write at least two blog posts about the event you can get special discounted pricing of $175.

Register today and be sure to follow @winetourismconf on Twitter for conference announcements and news.

Hope to see you there.

Marcy Gordon
